block contact join command

Syntax

block contact join b <range>

Join adjacent blocks within the given range. Joined blocks act as one block with a common centroid and volume calculated for all blocks joined together. A joined block group consists of one “master” block and one or more “slave” blocks. Use the block list information command to identify master and slave blocks in a block group. Note: only visible blocks are joined (see block hide). This command is the same as block join except that contacts are used to identify the range.
