## Vector Access

v/f = sel.hybrid.dowel.pos(scdp<,i>)

Get the position vector of the dowel, defined as the element centroid. If the optional argument i is supplied, the return value is restricted by vector component (1 = $$x$$, 2 = $$y$$, 3 = $$z$$).

Returns: v or f - position or component of position scdp - cable dowel pointer

## Component Access

f = sel.hybrid.dowel.pos.x(scdp)

Get the $$x$$-component of the dowel position.

Returns: f - $$x$$-component of dowel position scdp - cable dowel pointer
f = sel.hybrid.dowel.pos.y(scdp)

Get the $$y$$-component of the dowel position.

Returns: f - $$y$$-component of dowel position scdp - cable dowel pointer
