OpenGL Mode

Use the selector to specify which of four modes to use when rendering accelerated 3D graphics in the program.

Dynamic
With this option selected, the program will automatically select the OpenGL mode from the rendering capabilities detected at program start, selecting in order of perference: 1) Native Desktop 2) ANGLE 3) Software Emulation. Though preferred by default, Native Desktop mode is automatically rejected if the program is running under the Remote Desktop Protocol (i.e., in a Windows Remote Desktop session).
Native Desktop
This option uses the OpenGL drivers provided by the video card driver. Minimally, OpenGL version 2.1 or later is required. Note that the 3D rendering in the plot window requires OpenGL version 3.3 or higher, so if the available implementation falls in this range it may be necessary to choose ANGLE (see next). Also note that if the code program is running under the Remote Desktop Protocol (Windows Remote Desktop) it will automatically change to Dynamic Mode.
Angle (DirectX)
With this option, rendering is performed in DirectX using an OpenGL → DirectX translation layer (ANGLE).
Software Emulation
When this option is selected, rendering is performed using software providing an OpenGL emulation layer. This option is least-preferred because it is significantly slower than the others.
Splash Screen
Show the program splash screen at start up when checked.
Suppressed Notifications
If checked, the notification indicated will not be shown in the startup dialog at program start.

Plugins to Autoload

Consitutive Models
If checked, Constitutive Model plugins placed in the pluginscmodel directory are loaded automatically on startup.
Joint Models
If checked, Joint Model plugins placed in in the pluginsjmodel directory are loaded automatically on startup.
Contact Models
If checked Contact Model plugins placed in the pluginscontactmodelmechanical directory are loaded automatically on startup.
Plot Items
If checked Plot Item plugins placed in the pluginsplotitem directory are loaded automatically on startup. Plot item plugins can add new plot item types to the code. These are not currently not available for independent development.
Modules
If checked, Module plugins placed in the pluginsmodule directory are loaded automatically on startup. Module plugins add new capabilities to the code engine. These are currently not available for independent development.
