fragment register command

Syntax

fragment register <s ...> <keyword> <range>

Primary keywords:

ignorebond    persist

Register contact types for fragment analysis. If no contact types (e.g., s = ball-ball) are specified, then all available contact types are registered. By default, only bonded mechanical contacts are considered as criteria for inclusion in a fragment. If the ignorebond keyword is given, then all existing contacts (bonded or not) are considered. The user can specify an optional range that will apply to contacts under consideration until the fragment clear command is issued.

When this command is given, at least one active contact of each contact type of interest must exist in the model.

ignorebond

Consider all contacts regardless for bonding state when computing fragments.

persist b

Set the fragment persistence state (deafult true). If the persistence is turned off, fragment registration and computations are much faster but no previous fragment states are retained.
