# data.vector.value

Syntax

Vector Access

v = data.vector.value(vp<,i>)
data.vector.value(vp<,i>) = v

Get/set the vector value.

Returns: v - vector value or component v - vector value or component vp - vector pointer i - optional vector component

Component Access

f = data.vector.value.x(vp)
data.vector.value.x(vp) = f

Get/set the $$x$$-component of the vector value.

Returns: f - $$x$$-component of the vector value f - $$x$$-component of the vector value vp - vector pointer
f = data.vector.value.y(vp)
data.vector.value.y(vp) = f

Get/set the $$y$$-component of the vector value.

Returns: f - $$y$$-component of the vector value f - $$y$$-component of the vector value vp - vector pointer
f = data.vector.value.z(vp) (3D only)
data.vector.value.z(vp) = f (3D only)

Get/set the $$z$$-component of the vector value.

Returns: f - $$z$$-component of the vector value f - $$z$$-component of the vector value vp - vector pointer
