struct.beam.model

Syntax

s := struct.beam.model(p)
struct.beam.model(p) := s

Get/set the beam constitutive model. See the list of available models with the structure beam cmodel list names (or pile) command. If used as an assignment, the properties will be given their default values and must be initialized. Setting the constitutive model is equivalent to issuing the structure beam cmodel assign (or pile) command.

Returns:

Accepts:

s - name of the new beam constitutive model to assign. Keyword matching applies. If no model name that is currently available matches, then an error will occur.
