struct.liner.normal.disp

Syntax

f := struct.liner.normal.disp(p,inode<,iside>)

Get the displacement of the normal coupling spring at node inode (inode ∈ {1, 2, 3}). Normal displacement positive/negative implies separation/overlap. The normal direction is given by struct.liner.normal.dir.

Returns:

f - displacement of normal coupling spring

Arguments:

p - pointer to a liner element

inode - node number in the element, inode ∈ {1, 2, 3}

iside - optional side indicator (1 or 2), the default is 1
