struct.liner.shear.disp

Syntax

f := struct.liner.shear.disp(p,inode<,iside>)

Get the displacement in the shear coupling spring at node inode (inode ∈ {1, 2, 3}). Shear displacement is always positive and acts in the liner tangent plane. The shear direction is given by struct.liner.shear.dir.

Returns:

f - displacement magnitude of shear coupling spring

Arguments:

p - pointer to a liner element

inode - node number in the element, inode ∈ {1, 2, 3}

iside - optional side indicator (1 or 2), default is 1
