building_blocks.edge.cp.point

Syntax

v = building_blocks.edge.cp.point(ep,i)

Get the 3D coordinates of a control point. The control point index must be in the range 1 to building_blocks.edge.cp.size.

Returns:

v - position of the control point (3D)

Arguments:

ep - edge pointer

i - control point index

f = building_blocks.edge.cp.point (ep, i)->x

f = building_blocks.edge.cp.point.x(ep,i)

Get the \(x\)-component of the the 3D coordinates of a control point. The control point index must be in the range 1 to building_blocks.edge.cp.size.

Returns:

f - \(x\)-component of the position of the control point (3D)

Arguments:

ep - edge pointer

i - control point index

Access other vector components (\(y\), \(z\)) by substituting the component name where \(x\) appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->.

Deprecated Component Access

Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (building_blocks.edge.cp.point(ep,i,<int>)) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
