# rblock free command

Syntax

rblock free keyword ... <range>

Primary keywords:

Free the specified rigid block velocities. As a result, rigid block motion reflects the forces acting upon them.

spin

The angular velocity is freed.

spin-x (3D ONLY)

Free the $$x$$-component of the angular velocity.

spin-y (3D ONLY)

Free the $$y$$-component of the angular velocity.

spin-z (3D ONLY)

Free the $$z$$-component of the angular velocity.

velocity

The translational velocity is freed.

velocity-x

Free the $$x$$-component of the translational velocity.

velocity-y

Free the $$y$$-component of the translational velocity.

velocity-z (3D ONLY)

Free the $$z$$-component of the translational velocity.

Usage Examples

Free (remove fixity from all degrees of freedom) rigid blocks in the group supportBlock.
