block.field.get.gp

Syntax

f = block.field.get.gp(bgpp,bzp)

Get data directly from the gridpoint bgpp and zone bzp. Note that one of the two values may not be required, depending on the type of data queried and the extrapolation method specified.

Returns:

f - the scalar value specified at gridpoint bgpp and/or zone bzp

Arguments:

bgpp - a pointer to a gridpoint

bzp - a pointer to a block zone
