Syntax

i = contact.num(<s>)

Return the number of active contacts. The optional argument allows filtering with a contact class name (e.g., mechanical) or a contact type name (e.g., ball-ball). By default, the mechanical contact list is considered.

Returns:i - number of active contacts Arguments:s - optional contact type name or contact type name
