contact.force.global
Syntax
- v = contact.force.global(c)
Get the contact force in the global coordinate system.
Returns: v - contact force expressed in the global coordinate system (vector) Arguments: c - mechanical contact pointer
Component Access
f = contact.force.global
(c)->x
- f = contact.force.global.x(c)
Get the x-component of the contact force in the global coordinate system.
Returns: f - x-component of the contact contact force in the global coordinate system Arguments: c - contact pointer

Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (e.g., f = contact.force.global(c,3)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
