data.tensor.pos
Syntax
- v := data.tensor.pos(tp)
- data.tensor.pos(tp) := v
Get/set the tensor position.
Returns: v - tensor position vector Accepts: v - tensor position vector Arguments: tp - user tensor pointer
Component Access
f := data.tensor.pos
(tp)->x
data.tensor.pos
(tp)->x
:= f
- f := data.tensor.pos.x(tp)
Get/set the x-component of the tensor position.
Returns: f - x-component of the tensor position vector Accepts: f - x-component of the tensor position vector Arguments: tp - user tensor pointer
Access other vector components (y, z) by substituting the component name where x appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->
.
Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (data.tensor.pos(tp,<int>)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
