struct.pile.force
Syntax
- v := struct.pile.force(p,iend)
Get the nodal force acting on the pile element at end iend ∈ {1, 2} in the element local system.
Returns: v - moment of inertia vector
Arguments: p - a pointer to a pile element
Component Access
f := struct.pile.force
(p, iend)->x
- f := struct.pile.force.x(p,iend)
Get the x-component of the nodal force acting on the pile element at end iend ∈ {1, 2} in the element local system.
Returns: f - x-component of the moment of inertia vector
Arguments: p - a pointer to a pile element
Access other vector components (y, z) by substituting the component name where x appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->
.
Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (struct.pile.force(p,iend,<int>)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
