block.gp.force.app

Syntax

v := block.gp.force.app(bgpp)

block.gp.force.app(bgpp) := v

Get/set the applied force at the gridpoint.

Returns:

v - applied force vector

Accepts:

v - applied force vector

Arguments:

bgpp - block gridpoint pointer

Component Access

f := block.gp.force (bgpp)->x
block.gp.force (bgpp)->x := f

f := block.gp.force.x(bgpp)

Get/set the $x$-component of the applied force at the gridpoint.

Returns:

f - $x$-component of the applied force vector

Accepts:

f - $x$-component of the applied force vector

Arguments:

bgpp - block gridpoint pointer

Access other vector components ($y$, $z$) by substituting the component name where $x$ appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->.

Deprecated Component Access

Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (block.gp.force(bgpp,<int>)) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
