The description of Factor-of-Safety calculation in 3DEC, which was formerly located here within the Theory section of the 3DEC documentation, is now part of a unified presentation of Factor-of-Safety calculation for 3DEC and FLAC3D. That presentation is located in the “Modeling Methodology” section of the Itasca Software Guide.
