Annulus

Interactive Use

Set Filter: Position the mouse over the handle point at the sphere’s center ( pos_handl ) until it indicates that positioning mode is ready ( cur_posit ). Left-click and drag to set the position of the sphere. Set the mouse over any point of the outer sphere’s periphery until the cursor indicates that sizing mode is ready ( cur_posit ). Left-click and drag to increase/decrease the radius of the sphere. Initially, the inner sphere of the annulus is given a zero-length radius. A positive value must be supplied to it before it can be handled interactively; do this via the “Inner radius” attribute (see below), after which the inner sphere will appear inside the outer sphere. Once a value is given, the inner radius is interactively set in the same manner as the outer radius.

Attributes

Not: Invert the filter element’s selection.

Extent: If checked, only include the item if its entire extent fits within this filter element’s definition. If not checked, the item’s centroid is used to determine the location of the item and whether it is within the filter element’s definition.

Center: Specify x, y and z position of the annulus’ center.

Inner Radius: Specify the size of the inner sphere’s radius.

Outer Radius: Specify the size of the outer sphere’s radius.
