zone nodal-mixed-discretization command

Syntax

zone nodal-mixed-discretization b

Activate or deactivate the nodal mixed discretization (nmd) feature. When nmd is on, any tetrahedral zones (3D) or triangular zones (2D) will use the nmd algorithm during stress calculations. When nmd is off, the default mixed discretization method will be used. See Grid Discretization in FLAC for further information.

Note that nmd is off by default in FLAC3D, but on by default in FLAC2D.
