element cfd attribute command

Syntax

element cfd attribute keyword ... <range>

Primary keywords:

density    dragforce    dragforce-x    dragforce-y    dragforce-z    presgradient    presgradient-x    presgradient-y    presgradient-z    pressure    velocity    velocity-x    velocity-y    velocity-z    viscosity

Set the value of element CFD attributes. This command is a synonym for the element cfd initialize command. Individual attributes can be listed with the element cfd list command, and all element CFD attributes can be visualized.

density f

Fluid density.

dragforce v

Magnitude of the drag force.

dragforce-x f

The \(x\)-component of the drag force.

dragforce-y f

The \(y\)-component of the drag force.

dragforce-z f (3D ONLY)

The \(z\)-component of the drag force.

presgradient v

Magnitude of the pressure gradient.

presgradient-x f

The \(x\)-component of the pressure gradient.

presgradient-y f

The \(y\)-component of the pressure gradient.

presgradient-z f (3D ONLY)

The \(z\)-component of the pressure gradient.

pressure f

Fluid pressure.

velocity v

Magnitude of the fluid velocity.

velocity-x f

The \(x\)-component of the fluid velocity.
