fracture.from.contact

Syntax

frac = fracture.from.contact(dfn,c)

Create a fracture from a contact. The fracture is added to dfn. The shape is planar and composed of the vertices returned by contact.joint. This can be useful for tracking breakage events.

Returns:

frac - fracture pointer

Arguments:

dfn - DFN pointer

c - contact pointer
