block.gp.force.mag

Syntax

f = block.gp.force.mag(bgpp)

Get the magnitude of total force acting on a gridpoint. This is a scalar (magnitude of a vector) used to calculate force ratios for solving (solve ratio is the sum of unbalanced forces on all gridpoints divided by the sum of total forces on all gridpoints).

Returns:

f - gridpoint total force magnitude

bgpp - block gridpoint pointer
