Must Start Doc with NOT Title

For no currently known reason (bug?), if you begin a doc with its title in Sphinx 1.6.3, that doc will not show up on the navigation tree as it should. However, if the title is preceded with a pipe character ( | ), a comment, an include, or an anchor definition, then the page will still render as desired and show up on the navigation tree. The four constructs mentioned have been tested; it is possible that there are other constructs that would work as well. Feel free to give something else a try if wanted/needed.
