geom.edge.node.pos
Syntax
- v := geom.edge.node.pos(e,ie)
- geom.edge.node.pos(e,ie) := v
Get/set the node position.
Returns: v - node position vector
Accepts: v - node position vector
Arguments: e - edge pointer
Component Access
f := geom.edge.node.pos
(e, ie)->x
geom.edge.node.pos
(e, ie)->x
:= f
- f := geom.edge.node.pos.x(e)
- geom.edge.node.pos.x(e) := f
Get/set the \(x\)-component of the node position.
Returns: f - \(x\)-component of the node position vector
Accepts: f - \(x\)-component of the node position vector
Arguments: e - edge pointer
Access other vector components (\(y\), \(z\)) by substituting the component name where \(x\) appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->
.
Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (geom.edge.node.pos(e,ie,<int>)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
