geom.node.pos
Syntax
- v := geom.node.pos(n)
- geom.node.pos(n) := v
Get/set the node position.
Returns: v - node position vector Accepts: v - node position vector Arguments: n - node pointer
Component Access
f := geom.node.pos
(n)->x
geom.node.pos
(n)->x
:= f
- f := geom.node.pos.x(n)
Get/set the \(x\)-component of the node position.
Returns: f - \(x\)-component of the node position vector Accepts: f - \(x\)-component of the node position vector Arguments: n - node pointer
Access other vector components (\(y\), \(z\)) by substituting the component name where \(x\) appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->
.
Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (geom.node.pos(n,<int>)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
