gp.disp.small
Syntax
- v := gp.disp.small(gp)
- gp.disp.small(gp) := v
Get/set the small displacement vector for the gridpoint.
Small displacements are incremented from velocity and timestep only in the small-strain model. See the command
model large-strain
. The small-strain vector field is used in the interface logic to calculate overlaps.Returns: v - small displacement vector Arguments: z - zone pointer
Component Access
f := gp.disp.small
(gp)->x
gp.disp.small
(gp)->x
:= f
- f := gp.disp.small.x(gp)
- gp.disp.small.x(gp) := f
Get the \(x\)-component of the small displacement vector for the gridpoint.
Returns: f - \(x\)-component of the small displacement vector Accepts: f - \(x\)-component of the small displacement vector Arguments: gp - zone pointer
Access other vector components (\(y\), \(z\)) by substituting the component name where \(x\) appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->
.
Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (gp.disp.small(gp,<int>)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
