block gridpoint trace command

Syntax

block gridpoint trace keyword

Trace position and velocity of a block gridpoint. See the c trace commands.

The positions and velocities of gridpoints on a block can be sampled and stored during a model run by using this command. The resulting path through space can be visualized with the program interface. Only one trace position may be created per block gridpoint trace command. Traces may be added at any time.

A summary of all traces can be obtained by using the trace list command.

The following keywords are available to specify which block gridpoint location is traced.

id i

Add a trace of the location corresponding to the gridpoint ID i.

position v

Add a trace at position v, which must fall on/at some gridpoint.
