struct.beam.plastic.stress.bounds

Syntax

v2 := struct.beam.plastic.stress.bounds(p) (currently 3D ONLY)

Gets the minimum $(\sigma_{min})$ and maximum $(\sigma_{max})$ axial stress within the element with a plastic material model (see the structure beam list plastic-stress-bounds (or pile) command).

Returns:

v2 - axial stress within the element ordered as $(\sigma_{min},\sigma_{max})$

Arguments:

p - pointer to a beam-type element
