struct.pile.shear.stress

Syntax

f = struct.pile.shear.stress(p,iend)

Get the stress in coupling shear spring at end iend ∈ {1, 2} of the pile element. Sign convention for shear spring is positive/negative with respect to the average axial direction of pile.

Returns:

f - shear coupling spring stiffness

Arguments:

p - pointer to a pile element

iend - end number of the pile element, iend ∈ {1, 2}
