struct.shell.stress.valid

Syntax

b := struct.shell.stress.valid(p)

Get stress validity flag.

true means that the stresses for an element with an elastic material model are valid. false means that stresses have not been calculated or that there has been a change since they were last calculated that has invalidated the results. The stress validity flag for elements that have a plastic material model is always false. See also the struct.shell.stress and struct.shell.plastic.ipstress functions.

Returns:

b - stress validity flag

Arguments:

p - pointer to a shell-type element
