The Model Pane
The Model pane is an interactive user interface for displaying the current model. It has tools for selecting, showing, hiding, and grouping objects. There are a few tools specific to certain data types, for example, to densify zones or create structural elements on faces. This pane is available through the menu item
.As you manipulate your model, most of your actions will be automatically translated into commands that are sent to the Console pane. See the command reference for specific data types for more information. ( Zone Commands , Zone FISH )
As you become familiar with commands, you may find it easier to use the Model pane to select a set of objects, and then switch to the Console pane to type in a command and simply type “range selected” at the end.
