structure liner history
command
Syntax
- structure liner history keyword
Primary keywords:
coupling-displacement-normal coupling-displacement-shear coupling-stress-normal coupling-stress-shear coupling-yield-shear coupling-yield-normal force force-x force-y moment
Sample liner responses.
If the optional
name
keyword is used, then the history can be assigned a name for later reference. If not used, then the history will be assigned a default name based on the internally assigned ID number. The element to be sampled must be identified by either component ID (component-id
i) or by position (position
v). Ifposition
v is used, then the element nearest to v is taken.- coupling-displacement-normal [liner2dhistoryblock]
displacement in the normal coupling spring at a node of the element. Normal displacement positive/negative implies separation/overlap only if the liner is on the outer surface and liner element normals point away from the body to which the liner is attached. This option uses the
node
andside
keywords.
- coupling-displacement-shear [liner2dhistoryblock]
displacement in the shear coupling spring at a node of the element Shear displacement is always positive. This option uses the
node
andside
keywords.
- coupling-stress-normal [liner2dhistoryblock]
stress in the normal coupling spring at a node of the element. Normal stress positive/negative implies tension/compression only if the liner is on the outer surface and liner element normals point away from the body to which the liner is attached. This option uses the
node
andside
keywords.
- coupling-stress-shear [liner2dhistoryblock]
stress in the shear coupling spring at a node of the element. Shear stress is always positive. This option uses the
node
andside
keywords.
- coupling-yield-shear [liner2dhistoryblock]
yield state in the shear coupling spring at a node of the element. Value {0, 1, 2} denotes never yielded, now yielding, or yielded in the past, respectively. This option uses the
node
andside
keywords.
- coupling-yield-normal [liner2dhistoryblock]
yield state in the normal coupling spring at a node of the element. Value {0, 1, 2} denotes never yielded, now yielding, or yielded in the past, respectively. This option uses the
node
andside
keywords.
- force [liner2dhistoryblock]
applied nodal force magnitude. Uses the
node
keyword.
- force-x [liner2dhistoryblock]
applied nodal force (\(x\)-component, global system). Uses the
node
keyword.
- force-y [liner2dhistoryblock]
applied nodal force (\(y\)-component, global system). Uses the
node
keyword.
- moment [liner2dhistoryblock]
nodal moment magnitude. Uses the
node
keyword.
