zone joint initialize-stresses command

Syntax

zone joint initialize-stresses <range>

Set the contact forces consistent with the zone stresses. This is accomplished by averaging the zone stresses associated with each contact and computing a traction on the contact plane from the stress tensor. The contact force is the ratio of the traction to the contact area for each contact. Zone stresses must be specified prior to giving this command. The range applies to contacts.
