Start-up Options

Project Options

PFC can do one of these four things when first started. Show startup dialog causes the start-up dialog to be shown at start-up, allowing the user to select what to do next through the dialog (“Open most recent” project, “Start new” project, etc.).

Open most recent: When selected, this sets the program to open the most recent project at start-up.

Start new: When selected, this sets the program to start a new project at start-up.

Do nothing: When selected, this sets the program to open with no project loaded.

Selecting any of these three will cause that option to be used every time the program starts. Selecting “Show startup dialog” will cause the Startup dialog to appear each time the program starts.

Splash Screen

When checked, the program splash screen is shown at start-up.

Don’t show program update notices

When checked, the Update Alert dialog will not appear at program start-up when there is a program update available.

Autoload FISH function plugins

When checked, FISH function plugins are loaded at program start-up.

Autoload PlotItem plugins

When checked, plot item plugins are loaded at program start-up.

Autoload Constitutive Model Plugins

When checked, constitutive model plugins are loaded at program start-up.
