building_blocks.point.pos
Syntax
- v = building_blocks.point.pos(pp)
Get point position. Returns global (3D) coordinates.
Returns: v - point position Arguments: pp - point pointer
Component Access
f = building_blocks.point.pos
(pp)->x
- f = building_blocks.point.pos.x(pp)
Get the \(x\)-component of point position. Returns global (3D) coordinates.
Returns: f - \(x\)-component of the point position Arguments: pp - point pointer

Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (building_blocks.point.pos(pp,<int>)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
