interface.node.position
Syntax
- v := interface.node.pos(in)
- interface.node.pos(in) := v
Get/set the position vector for the interface node.
Returns: v - position vector
Accepts: v - position vector
Arguments: in - interface node pointer
Component Access
f := interface.node.pos
(in)->x
interface.node.pos
(in)->x
:= f
- f := interface.node.pos.x(in)
- interface.node.pos.x(in) := f
Get/set the \(x\)-component of the position vector for the interface node.
Returns: f - \(x\)-component of the position vector Accepts: f - \(x\)-component of the position vector Arguments: in - interface node pointer
Access other vector components (\(y\), \(z\)) by substituting the component name where \(x\) appears above. See Member Access Operator for information about accessing members from data types using ->
.
Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (interface.node.pos(in,<int>)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
