wall.facet.active
Syntax
- i = wall.facet.active(f)
- wall.facet.active(f) = i
Get/set the facet activity. The following codes apply: 0 indicates both sides are active; 1 indicates the top side (e.g., in the direction of the facet normal) is active; -1 indicates the bottom side of the facet is active; and 2 indicates neither side of the facet is active.
Note
No effort is made to mitigate large forces that develop when facets or pebbles migrate from the inactive to active sides of facets. Thus large velocities may result in these situations.
