Syntax
- v = wall.facet.normal(wf)
Get the facet normal.
Returns: v - facet normal vector Arguments: wf - facet pointer
Component Access
f = wall.facet.normal
(wf)->x
- f = wall.facet.normal.x(wf)
Get the x-component of the facet normal.
Returns: f - x-component of the facet normal vector Arguments: wf - facet pointer

Deprecated Component Access
Component access by adding an optional integer in the function arguments (e.g., f = wall.facet.normal(wf, 3)
) is deprecated. It remains available but will not be supported in future versions. See Component Access with Integers in FISH on the Deprecated Commands and FISH page for details.
