Floating and Docking
To Float
There are two main methods of floating a pane.
- Move the pane such that no area of the program window is highlighted blue at the moment the mouse button is released.
- Select from the pane menu ( ).
When “floated,” the pane is fully detached from the main window of the program, and may be operated independently of it.

- select from the pane menu ( ).
