zone.test.quality
Syntax
- f = zone.test.quality(z,itype)
Get a measure of the zone quality, or how the zone shape may affect solution accuracy. itype must be either 1 or 2; any other value causes a return value of 0.0. itype = 1 indicates a test of volume over edge length. itype = 2 indicates a test of skew. Both return the minimum value obtained over all internal tetrahedrons. A return value of 1.0 indicates an equilateral tetra.
Returns: f - a measure of the zone quality
Arguments: z - a zone pointer
itype - 1 for a test of volume over edge length, 2 for a test of skew
