Operations on structural element hybrid bolts.

Hybrid bolt elements do not support moment transmission. Hybrid bolts are typically rigidly connected to their surroundings in the directions normal to their element direction and have a deformable connected (governed by grout properties) in the direction parallel to the element. Hybrid bolts also encompass “dowels” that resist shear where the bolt crosses a joint or interface. The dowels have a stiffness and strength.
